Flare Gas Regulations and Monitoring Technologies

Flow monitoring in flare gas applications has grown increasingly important for compliance to local, state, and federal pollution control regulations. It has also proven useful for reducing energy costs, improvements in plant material throughput, leak detection, and streamlined predictive maintenance. GE's Lorenzo Nirchi discusses flare gas monitoring regulations, and the use of ultrasonic flow technologies for regulatory compliance, energy management, and predictive maintenance.

Lorenzo Nirchi, GE Measurement & ControlAbout the speaker: Lorenzo Nirchi joined Panametrics in 1997, which transitioned to GE in 2002. His responsibilities include helping customers solve their flow measurement problems, working with ultrasonic meters and moisture measurement. In 2007, he became North American flow specialist, providing on-site walk-downs, training, and troubleshooting.

If his name sounds familiar, it's no surprise. Lorenzo spent several years working for RAECO as a process instrumentation territory manager in the Northwest Illinois area.

We welcome Lorenzo back, and thank him for sharing his knowledge during this exclusive session for our customers.
